About

Thanks for stopping by… My name is Kliment Andreev. I work as an IT professional for a large multinational company in New Jersey. I am dealing on a day-to-day basis with many different technologies, responsible for an infrastructure that supports about thousands of servers and petabytes of storage. I used to be a programmer back in the days, but now I am focused on server and storage infratructure, cloud and DevOps. My blog is a mix of programming (less) and Linux/FreeBSD/Windows (more) technical articles and howtos.

My first computer was ZX Spectrum when I was 13 years old and I’ve learned how to program in BASIC/Z80 assembler since I was 14. I moved to Pascal/C later.

In my free time I ride my bike, watch sitcoms and have fun with my friends.
